The Effect and Mechanism of Agricultural Informatization on Economic Development: Based on a Spatial Heterogeneity Perspective

As the future direction of modern agriculture, agricultural informatization (AI) and its economic effects are worth exploring because they can well promote digital agriculture. Based on existing research results, we propose six hypotheses around benefits AI construct geographically temporally weighted regression (GTWR) model with a sample 30 Chinese provinces over period 2001–2020 for validation. Specifically, starting from farmers’ income regional growth, entropy value method is used to indicators, GTWR constructed analyze effect AI. Furthermore, transmission mechanism was explored perspective industry structure upgrading. The following conclusions were drawn. First, level in China has increased significantly, meanwhile spatial correlation also strengthened year by year. Second, demonstrates positive growth development, which means that it become an important contributing factor rural output. Third, upgrading one ways leverage effect. Hence, improving sectors through multi-dimensionality pragmatic significance economy.
